3M™ Temflex™ Vinyl Electrical Tape 165 is a multi-purpose, flame-retardant vinyl insulating tape. It is designed to perform in ambient temperatures up to 194ºF (90ºC) while remaining conformable for cold weather applications down to 32ºF (0ºC).
These properties make it an excellent choice for use in industrial, commercial and residential environments where a flame retardant and cold resistance rating is required (UL510).
Additionally, the combination of an elastic PVC backing and pressure-sensitive, rubber-based adhesive provides electrical and mechanical protection with minimum bulk. UL and CSA listed, VDE certified and RoHS compliant.
3M™ Temflex™ 165
Provides good stretch and flexibility and better general use bundling, insulating and sealing. Suitable for moderate indoor & weather-protected outdoor uses between 32ºF to 194ºF (0°C and 90°C). Ideal for general use insulation, color coding for phase identification, wire marking and safety. Electrical insulation for wire and cable splices rated up to 600 volts.
